AI is no longer the top keyword in aftermarket domain sales at Afternic.
Afternic has released its latest keyword data for aftermarket domain sales, and AI dropped significantly down the list.
The data cover sales in October of this year. After landing at #1 in September, the keyword AI dropped all the way to #9.
Here’s the list, with the September ranking in parenthesis:

It’s worth noting that these are rankings, not the actual unit volume of sales. Also, Afternic doesn’t break down sales by top level domain each month, so we don’t have additional insight into sales of domains with the .ai top level domain name.
